Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) is stunned in Emmerdale next week as employee Sam Dingle (James Hooton) has the nerve to stand up to him.
We know!
Sam has been working as Joe’s sidekick for a while now, but upcoming episodes will see him finally realise that he deserves a better job than being his skivvy. Following the situation that saw Joe fire Sam for stealing Christmas trees, only to then hire him again, Sam decides to stand up to his boss and quits his role on the spot, and suffice to say Joe is pretty shocked.
Elsewhere, at Dale View, Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) decides to act on his feelings for Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches). He sets up a plan so they can spend time together, but Vinny is quietly annoyed when best friend Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah) rocks up and decides to hang out with his pals as well.
Will Kammy get the message and er well, leave them to it?

Also, Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) finally gets her wish as she walks into the pub to find Jason Donovan preparing a small concert for her and the other villagers.
‘I’m incredibly excited to have been asked to make a cameo appearance in Emmerdale as myself’, the star previously said when his casting was announced.
‘Filming was great fun and all of the cast and crew were extremely welcoming. Singing in the Woolpack set was definitely an experience I won’t forget.’
And as the residents enjoy the Jason Donovan concert, no one is aware that Kim Tate (Claire King) is lying in the middle of a field after sustaining an injury.
Who will find her?
