Emmerdale firestarter ‘confirmed’ by this one clue

The following article contains spoilers from the episode of Emmerdale dated May 15. It hasn’t aired on ITV1 yet, but can be viewed on ITVX and YouTube.
Emmerdale’s Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) should really know by now that when he talks about wanting a quieter life that’s free from drama, it usually means more trouble is waiting for him round the corner.
Yesterday, everything changed for Aaron’s partner Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) as he got word that Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) knew that he assisted in getting Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) sent to prison earlier this year.
Cain’s immediate reaction was to try and leave Wishing Well to get violent revenge on Robert, but Moira stopped him and reminded him that he needs to rest after his cancer operation.
Cain told Moira that he wouldn’t let Robert’s betrayal bother him, and that he would focus on his recovery – but that turned out to be a lie. He asked his brother Sam Dingle (James Hooton) for help with a plan that featured doing ‘something bad’, telling him that it’s the only thing the person deserves.
After Robert was knocked unconscious by Sam, he woke up tied to a chair in the kitchen of his home. Standing in front of him was a very angry Cain holding a hammer.
Cain wanted to know why Robert helped Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) and framed Moira, but he refused to say anything. This just made Cain more irritated, so he grabbed Robert’s hand and very nearly smashed the hammer into it.
Just before the damage was done, Robert confessed and told Cain that Joe blackmailed him over the footage he obtained of Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) covering up their brother’s murder.
This still wasn’t enough for Cain to calm down. He was forced to stop his revenge though due to collapsing in pain.
Robert rushed Cain to hospital, where Moira and Aaron found them a while later.

While he recovered, Cain told Robert that he’s glad Vic didn’t get dragged into something awful after John’s death. They agreed to draw a line under things, though I doubt Cain and Robert will share a pint in the pub anytime soon.
As Robert and Aaron left, they spoke about how ending this situation with Cain means their life is now free from trouble. Hoping for a fresh start, the couple left the hospital ready to return to Emmerdale Farm, completely unaware that someone was on their land creating a new problem for them both.
A hooded figure completely dressed in black was seen setting fire to a load of hay bales. He was wearing a black hoodie and smart trainers, and the outfit certainly looks like something a popular resident would wear.
Interestingly, the mystery deepens next week as attention turns to the character I have in mind, with it becoming apparent that very few people truly know him.
Introduced last year, Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah) has become a loved member of the Emmerdale community. He’s deeply loyal to his friends, enjoys charming the locals, and even gets on relatively well with Cain while working at the garage.
But in upcoming episodes, when Aaron realise Kammy has rocked up late for work, he begins to wonder if he is the firestarter. To add fuel (sorry) to the theory, Aaron notices how tired Kammy is, and that he even has his shirt on backwards. Is Kammy distracted because he’s been busy with some matches?

Suspicious, Aaron realises no-one actually knows Kammy Hadiq very well at all. He vows to find the person responsible for the barn fires, but Aaron fails to realise Kammy is listening in on his chat with Robert, looking very alarmed.
He’s been in the village for over a year now and yet no-one has asked about Kammy’s life.
Where does he come from? Does he have any family nearby? Where does he live? Hopefully these are all questions that will be answered soon – but will Aaron and Robert manage to work out if Kammy is the arsonist?
And if he is, what on earth is this young man hiding?
