Hollyoaks confirms missing character in Grace’s evil scheme
Grace and Rex's evil plan escalates.
Hollyoaks has confirmed that Jacob Omari has gone missing as Grace Black’s evil schemes continued to take hold of the village.
Grace and Rex Gallagher have targeted a number of youngsters in recent weeks with the aim of exploiting them for financial gain, with Dillon Ray and Frankie Osborne being in their sights as they used them in their criminal gang.
In a bid to get Frankie on side, Rex blackmailed Jacob into helping him, with the character attempting to woo Frankie in yesterday’s episode. The plan didn’t work immediately, however, with Frankie pushing Jacob away before Dillon lashed out, thinking he was taking advantage.
Tuesday’s (March 18) episode began with Frankie apologising to Jacob for Dillon’s violent outburst, explaining that her traumatic past caught up with her as she got closer with him. Knowing that she is in trouble with Grace, Jacob suggested Frankie go to her family.
The idea proved to be futile, however, with Grace walking in just as Jacob uttered his thoughts. After quipping that Jacob was “full of bright ideas”, Grace described him as a “problem”, before reminding him that she would often “eliminate” such things.
As Grace escorted Frankie to the Osborne family home, Darren quickly had to leave after receiving a reminder from the hospital about an appointment for Oscar, leaving Frankie and Grace in the house alone.
After sharing that she felt like a “weak burden” to her family, Frankie confided in Grace about her past trauma with JJ, with Grace reflecting that she used her own troubles as “armour” to mask her own feelings.
Preying on Frankie further, Grace manipulated her feelings by focusing on Darren’s perceived neglect, urging the teenager to “take control” of her life and pursue all the things she wanted to. Frankie made her decision, with Darren returning to an empty house.
As Grace later persuaded Darren to leave Frankie be, she confirmed to Rex that the hospital appointment was a ruse to get Darren out of the house, before ordering Rex to deal with Jacob. After he moved in with Ste, he was sporting some bloodied knuckles…
As Frankie received no response from Jacob via text, she was informed by Grace that they would soon be hosting another party for VIPs. As she gifted Frankie her necklace, she asked the teen to be her guest of honour for the event…
