Hollyoaks confirms second pregnancy story as Nancy is left reeling
Nancy Osborne (Jessica Fox) is left reeling in upcoming Hollyoaks scenes as she discovers that she is pregnant – and she’s not the only one.
The Hollyoaks high head teacher, as viewers know, is intent on divorcing Darren (Ashley Taylor Dawson), who she believes cheated on her earlier this year.
Darren has professed his innocence, assuring Nancy that Kat Omari (Sonia Ibrahim) set him up in order to drive a wedge between he and daughter Frankie (lsabelle Smith).
Nancy, however, has refused to believe him.
As they discussed their differences of opinion on the subject last week, Darren once again professed his undying love for Nancy, which led to the former flames spending the night together.
But the following morning, Nancy called it quits on their marriage, demanding a divorce. Things take quite a turn in upcoming scenes, with Nancy discovering that she is pregnant.
Next week, she hides a positive pregnancy test and confides in Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) that she must’ve fallen pregnant following her and Darren’s night of passion.
The teacher says that she regrets her brief reunion with Darren and doesn’t want to keep the baby.
Mercedes, however, urges Nancy to be honest with Darren and leaves her with food for thought over what she wants her future to look like.
Things, however, take a very unexpected turn when Nancy bumps into Kat at the hospital – and realises that she is pregnant!
Desperate for answers, Nancy asks Kat if Darren is the father of her unborn child. Kat, however, says nothing as she is taken away from the hospital by one of DI Banks’ (Drew Cain) thugs.
Oscar (Noah Holdsworth), meanwhile, is nervous ahead of his surgery – and he’s particularly worried about Frankie’s whereabouts. He’s not the only one, with Darren also concerned as he speculates how exactly Frankie could have gone on holiday without her passport.
Darren being distracted doesn’t go down too well with Nancy, who is frustrated that he’s not being present for Oscar as the former couple argue across their son’s bedside.
And there’s another shock in store for the Osborne clan during the week in question as Kat, bruised and vulnerable, arrives at Basswood Road! The Osbornes persuade her to spend the night as Nancy puts her anger aside, convinced that Kat knows something about Frankie.
Kat starts talking and reveals that she cut Frankie off for her family to leave her vulnerable!
Will Nancy finally believe that Darren was telling the truth about not cheating on her? And will anything Kat says prove useful in the search for Frankie?
