Hollyoaks’ Darren makes devastating discovery before violent showdown

Hollyoaks‘ Darren Osborne made a devastating discovery in tonight’s episode ahead of a violent showdown as part of the soap’s stunt week.
Darren’s daughter Frankie went missing and it was recently revealed that she was being held captive in a house alongside Vicky Grant, Dillon Ray and Robbie Roscoe as part of the exploitation storyline.
After realising Frankie was in danger, Darren and Nancy Osborne tried to shake some answers out of Rex Gallagher. Punching him, Darren said: “Where’s Frankie?”
When Darren received a text telling them Frankie’s location, Rex told them to stay away as a police raid was due to take place.
At the police station, Nancy and Darren told corrupt police officer DI Banks where Frankie was, unaware that Banks was the mastermind behind the operation.
Banks set plans in motion to escape and destroy all evidence of his criminal operation including those who work for him.
“I don’t care what it takes. Burn everything, get rid of everyone, leave no trace behind,” Banks told his contact on the phone.
Meanwhile, Darren took matters into his own hands and went to the house. There, Kat Omari led him upstairs to the hidden room where Darren found Frankie and vowed to get her out.
“These people have groomed you. They scouted you out and they’ve drugged you and they’ve split us up,” Darren told a tearful Frankie, adding: “You’ve done nothing wrong.”
Elsewhere, Donny Clark, Rex and Dodger Savage put their minds together to figure out how to save the hostages. Dodger tried to free Robbie in the house, but Robbie knocked him out and left him in the house.
Vicky, Dillon and Robbie then desperately tried to escape. On their quest for freedom, the injured trio bumped into Darren and Frankie when DI Banks and his cronies arrived.
A fight broke out and Darren and Robbie attacked the gang members. Vicky escaped the house and the episode ended with Darren being kicked in the face by one of Banks’ gang.
