Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks has revealed three devastating cliffhangers as the dramatic stunt week continued with its dark storylines.
The Channel 4 soap has been airing an exploitation storyline in recent months, with Grace Black and Rex Gallagher running a criminal gang – which has targeted the village’s teenagers – at the behest of corrupt officer DI Alistair Banks.
Following several twists and turns, the arc has gradually been reaching its conclusion as several residents began to notice the group’s exploits, with the returning Dodger Savage also going undercover to infiltrate their operation.

Simultaneously, Lucas Hay received devastating news as he was diagnosed with a brain tumour, with the teenager shocking his father, Ste, as he initially refused to undergo surgery. After further talks with specialists, Lucas eventually reversed his stance.
Tuesday’s (27 May) instalment saw the drama continue in both storylines as Grace and Rex attempted to destroy evidence while making a play on Banks’s leadership role. As the operation moved frantically, Darren and Robbie found themselves at the mercy of the gang.
Rex, who has attempted to atone for his sins by freeing the victims, secretly handed Darren his phone in a bid to help him, with Darren subsequently telling Ste – who was accompanied by Nancy – that he and Robbie feared for their lives.
Their worries were justified, with the pair on the brink as they were left in the scrapyard. Nancy soon enlisted the help of Freddie, though there was a devastating twist as it soon became apparent that the pair had travelled to the wrong site in their rescue mission…

On the other side of the operation, Banks managed to recapture Vicky following her earlier escape, bringing her back into contact with Frankie and Dillon. As the trio were dumped out of the van, Banks informed them that they would soon be sold via an auction.
While Ste inadvertently came into contact with Darren, the figure had an anxious wait at hospital as Lucas underwent life-saving surgery. After helping Nancy, Ste received the shocking news that his son had suffered an unexpected bleed on the brain.
