Exclusive: Hollyoaks star Anna Passey “nervous” over new Sienna storyline

Hollyoaks star Anna Passey has admitted she’s “nervous” about a new storyline for Sienna Blake.
Sienna has endured a tumultuous year, from the introduction of her real father Jez and grandmother Martha, to the death of her cousin Dilly and husband Ethan.
And if the recent return of her twin Dodger Savage wasn’t dramatic enough, Passey has now revealed an even bigger storyline for her character.
Speaking exclusively with Digital Spy, the actor addressed what was on the cards for her character, teasing “non-stop chaos” for the Blakes.
“I read it and was like: ‘I’m nervous to do that’. So it’s big. For the Blakes now through the rest of the year, it’s just non-stop chaos.”
Asked about Jez and John Paul’s upcoming wedding, Passey described the “big episode” as a “fusion of Blakes and McQueens”.
“As you can imagine, that’s a bad mix. It doesn’t go to plan, so that’s a humongous episode,” she said. “But more than that, it has lots of repercussions and ripples that are going to have loads of knock-on effects for the next few months…”
The star went on to share her theory about what will happen during the soap’s 30th anniversary in October, as details are still being kept secret by producer Hannah Cheers.
“No-one knows. Nobody knows. I have an idea. I think the Blakes are going to be very heavy in it. I have an idea, but it hasn’t been confirmed yet. So we’re waiting to hear,” Passey said.
