Hollyoaks confirms unexpected new romance for Dodger Savage

Hollyoaks‘ Dodger Savage is set to give in to the unexpected chemistry he shares with returning villain Clare Devine-Banks in new scenes.
Earlier this week, the two shared a sweet moment when he helped her shave her head after she revealed her cancer diagnosis — though Dodger isn’t sure whether Clare is telling the truth.
The two appear to be playing each other for different reasons, as Dodger intends to gather information on Dennis’ disappearance and Clare wants to have access to her adopted daughter Tori.
Despite their concealed intentions, Dodger and Clare won’t be able to deny there’s a spark between them in scenes airing next week.
Meanwhile, Clare insists she thought her late husband, DI Alistair Banks, was only having an affair and was in the dark about his grooming operation.
Dodger and Clare share a moment, but are interrupted by a phone call.
Clearly not done with him, Clare finds an excuse to call him round later on.
He apologises to her for believing she was involved in Banks’ illegal activities. Their connection is palpable as Dodger realises he’s developing feelings for Clare. Are the lines getting blurred?
