Hollyoaks has confirmed which of the three teenagers killed DI Banks in the deadly showdown earlier this year.
Frankie, Dillon and Vicky tried to save themselves from Alistair’s horrific exploitation operation and all shot at the corrupt cop simultaneously.
While Rex took the blame for Banks’ death, the teens were unaware which one of them fired the bullet that killed him. This week, Dillon stole the ballistics report from Donny which revealed the truth, but Frankie shredded it so they would never know.
Meanwhile, Dillon has struggled in recent weeks and the trauma he experienced while being exploited. Lucas was horrified when he returned home to find his boyfriend high and having sex with a girl.

In yesterday’s episode, Lucas reeled from his shocking discovery and raged at Dillon, breaking down in tears as Ste arrived.
Lucas explained to his dad what had happened and opened up about how much he was struggling to deal with his partner, before storming out.
Ste later confronted Dillon and told him that his son deserves better than him. Dillon then revealed that he had killed someone – and was responsible for DI Banks’ death.

While Frankie had shredded the report, Dillon had already taken a photo of the document, and the angle of the bullet trajectory meant that it was him who shot Alistair.
Ste realised that Rex hadn’t actually killed anyone – though he did still play a major role in the exploitation of Frankie and Dillon.
Later, Vicky comforted Dillon back at Misbah’s house, but she remains unaware that he knows the truth about the shooting.

It seems that Ste will keep Dillon’s secret for now, but Lucas came home and said that his boyfriend had told him he had done something terrible.
Furious about Dillon as well as Ste’s continued interest in Rex, Lucas’ temper took over and he began hurting himself.
Ste desperately tried to protect his son so urged Lucas to take out his anger on him instead. Lucas then punched his dad and knocked him to the floor. Will this abusive behaviour continue?
