Hollyoaks reveals game-changing Grace twist as Clare drops bombshell

Hollyoaks has revealed a game-changing twist for Grace Black as Clare Devine-Banks dropped a huge bombshell.
Viewers know that Clare tried to get Grace killed for taking her adopted daughter Tori to live with the Blake-Savage family, before Vicky Grant hit Grace over the head, leaving her in a coma.
Grace woke up last week and gave Vicky and Frankie Osborne her car keys so that they could rescue Bobby Costello and Jacob Omari from being sold off by the villain.
In yesterday’s episode (14 July), Vicky and Frankie told Grace they were too late to save Bobby and Jacob, but Frankie set out again to find them. “I am only here because of Jacob,” Frankie said. “And now I’ll never see him again.”
Preparing to traffic Bobby and Jacob, Clare took them to a service station café, where Jacob told Bobby that Clare was planning to sell them.
Jacob managed to write a message to the waitress, asking her to contact Frankie. Bobby attempted to escape via the bathroom, only to be caught by Clare.
At the service station, Jacob and Bobby pleaded with Clare to let them go when a car pulled up to collect them. Clare thought it was her contact, but it was actually Frankie and Vicky in Jack’s car.
With the waitress on side, Jacob broke free and jumped into Jack’s car. Bobby ran away with Clare following, but the waitress got between them, meaning both boys managed to escape.
Meanwhile, Grace snuck out of the hospital and waited for Clare at home. Grace told Clare that it was time they confessed to the police, saying: “We need to pay for what we did.”
Before she could make the call, Clare brought up Grace’s child. “What about Curtis?” Clare asked, adding: “What about your other child? Your firstborn is out there somewhere. If you breathe a word down that phone, you’ll never know the truth.”
While we know that Grace is already mother to Curtis, up until today, viewers were unaware that she had another child. What is the story behind this, and why does Clare know the truth?
