Hollyoaks confirms the identity of Grace’s secret child in devastating twist

Hollyoaks’ Grace Black has made another devastating discovery tonight as she found out the identity of her secret child.
It’s been a life-changing week for Grace, with Tori’s piano playing some distressing childhood memories that she had she had repressed until now.
In heartbreaking scenes, she told sister Clare she remembered the horrific abuse she suffered at the hands of her late father Fraser as a teenager.

Grace opened up more about her ordeal in today’s episode and Clare apologised. While Grace assumed Fraser had abused her too, she quickly realised that Clare actually always knew about the abuse.
Furious by her sister’s betrayal, Grace raged at Clare. An emotional confrontation led to Clare revealing another horrific truth – that Fraser is the father of the baby Grace had when she was a teenager.
Froggy admitted he also knew about this. That was the final straw for Grace, who ordered both him and Clare to leave immediately.

But there was still more that Grace wasn’t being told, and Clare made it clear to Froggy that her sister didn’t need to know anything else.
In the village, an emotional Grace told Rex about Fraser’s abuse and asked for his support during this awful time.
But Rex assumed she was trying to persuade him not to give evidence at her and Clare’s trial and he accused Grace of fabricating a story about her past to earn his sympathy.
After being rejected by Rex, Grace returned home and found the video tape labelled ‘for Grace’ that Sandy had given Darren and Nancy during their trip to South Africa.

Grace sat down to watch the video, which was initially a clip of her old dog Barney. But the tape then cut to a video of Clare and Froggy talking while Grace was in labour as a teenager, with Froggy urging her to stick to Fraser’s plan of sending the baby to a new home, telling Grace that he didn’t make it.
However, Grace was more interested in the date of the video — 20 January 1996. She joined the dots and realised the shocking truth that Rex isn’t her brother… he’s her son.
