Jeremy, 54, shot to fame in 1995 as Kurt Benson, one of the show’s original characters and, as Hollyoaks marked its milestone anniversary, he took to TikTok to reflect.
He said: “Bittersweet day for me today.
“Today, 30 years ago, Hollyoaks launched its first episode, with me bursting onto the screen on a motorbike and a leather jacket.
“Unfortunately I haven’t been invited or included in any of the 30th anniversary celebrations which does upset me, I’m not going to lie to you.”
Jeremy added: “Still, I wish everyone the best. It was a great show and I was very proud to be part of it.”
Kurt was killed off-screen in 1999 but Jeremy made a return to Hollyoaks in 2020 with the character coming back from the dead.
Just three months later he quit the show and revealed fan reaction to the return was one of the reasons.
Many viewers refused to accept Kurt had transformed into a conman and hounded Jeremy on social media.
Revealing his decision at the time, he said: “It is with a heavy heart I am announcing I will NOT be returning to #Hollyoaks
“Many reasons but I’d be lying if I said being judged on here hasn’t influenced my decision. Never say never but for now I’m done.
“Thank you to those who have supported me for me.”
Jeremy recently told how he asked soap bosses if he could return for the 30th anniversary special after his failed comeback during the pandemic – but got no reply.
Speaking candidly on the Secure The Insecure podcast, Jeremy said: “I wrote to the casting and said I wanted to go back, because they brought me back, but unfortunately it was still COVID time.”
