Hollyoaks‘ Donny Clark has been trapped in a new criminal plot with a sinister twist involving Connor “Sully” Sullivan, who is currently working alongside Dodger Savage and Donny as a police officer.
It was recently revealed that Sully raped Donny during a horrific attack he committed while working undercover in a gang, while fellow gang member Griff did the same thing to Dodger.
Donny later murdered Griff and covered up the crime. Meanwhile, Donny’s daughter Gemma Johnson has been plotting with dodgy cop Sully to ruin her dad’s life.
In last week’s episodes, Gemma offered Mercedes McQueen and Warren Fox the chance to get involved in her latest robbery scheme to get the money to pay off Mercedes’ blackmailer (which they don’t realise is Gemma).
They both refused as Mercedes didn’t want Warren getting involved with his ex again, but a desperate Warren later secretly accepted Gemma’s offer.
In tonight’s episode, with just 24 hours left to pay the mystery blackmailer or the secret of her shooting Tony Hutchinson would be outed, Warren and Mercedes argued in the market as Gemma watched on.

After Warren agreed to join Gemma on a job to raise money for Mercedes, Gemma went over the plan with him, telling Warren that she had a tip-off that a robbery was taking place today.
Relaying her plan to Warren, Gemma said that she planned to intercept the heist and steal from the robbers. “They’re going to rob the driver. We’re going to rob them,” she said.
When Gemma told Sully that the plan was going ahead, Sully enlisted Donny, telling him that he’d had a tip-off about a robbery, saying: “Well, come on, DI Clark. The bad guys aren’t going to catch themselves, are they?”

Later, with two vans full of cash at the site of the robbery, Warren told Gemma that he would find the money another way after discovering that the robbers had guns.
After Warren knocked out one of the thieves, he took his gun and Gemma and Warren managed to escape with one of the vans.
Sully and Donny arrived in time to arrest the other robbers, but when Donny asked Sully why they weren’t going after the other van, the penny dropped and he realised that Gemma and Sully had been in cahoots.
Back at the station following the successful raid, Sully gave Donny the credit and handed him an envelope full of dirty money, saying it was his “cut” for “letting the other van get away”.
Donny tried to turn down the cash but Sully pointed to the CCTV camera behind them, which incriminated him in the dirty deal.
“Now, you’ve been good at keeping quiet. And your new boss wants it to stay that way,” Sully told Donny.
