Next week on Hollyoaks, Mercedes has an unexpected idea that stuns both Warren and Gemma. Meanwhile, John Paul bids farewell to the village, and Rex finds an ally in Ro as his secret is exposed.
Here is our round-up of all the biggest moments coming up in the village.
Monday 23 February – Episode 6683
1. John Paul says goodbye
John Paul is excited to build a future with his son away from the village, but he doesn’t feel able to say goodbye to his family so writes them some heartfelt letters instead. The McQueens realise what has happened and are determined to track down John Paul before he leaves.
The family are pleased to find John Paul visiting Mercedes at the rehab clinic. In emotional scenes, the McQueens bid farewell to John Paul as he gets ready to leave the village.
2. Ro helps a friend
At the garage, Froggy praises Rex and tells him he is proud of the man he has become. Rex secretly orders women’s clothes to the garage under a fake name, but when the parcel arrives, Ste thinks that the delivery man has got the wrong address and sends him on his way.
Ro spots this incident, though, so when he later finds his mum Diane looking through her clothes for a party outfit, he tells her that she needs to revamp her wardrobe and offers to take her old clothes to charity. Ro then makes an excuse to leave the bag of clothes with Rex…
3. Gemma is curious
Gemma asks Froggy for the keys to the house in Liverpool, the property where the dramatic events of the Hollyoaks Later episode took place and the violent robbery was staged.
She is desperate for answers, but what will she find out about that fateful day?
4. Rex is interrupted
Ste is excited about the upcoming engagement party, but tensions rise when he clashes with Darren and Jack over plans for the celebration.
Meanwhile, alone at home, Rex feels comfortable enough to try on Diane’s discarded clothes – but he is forced to hide when Froggy suddenly comes through the door. Will Froggy discover what Rex has been hiding?
Tuesday 24 February – Episode 6684
5. Ste makes amends
On the day of Ste, Rex, Jack and Pearl’s joint engagement party, some long-buried secrets and unexpected truths threaten to erupt beneath the surface…
At the party, Jack and Pearl are loved up, but Diane is missing her husband, as Tony is with his half-brother Dom. Ste is left heartbroken when he hears that Leah has missed her flight and won’t make it to the party – but he later takes the opportunity to make amends with Dillon.
6. Sienna wants answers
Sienna is preparing for a crucial social services meeting that will determine where baby Joseph will live while Cleo remains in hospital. She wants to make sure it goes well, so asks Liberty to tell Ste that she’s sorry for missing the party.
Meanwhile, Sophie is off school and hasn’t been herself for several weeks, so Sienna reaches out and presses her daughter for answers. Sienna later visits Cleo at the hospital and the pair are hopeful for the future. But what has Sienna found out from Sophie?
7. Frankie has an announcement

At the engagement party, Darren overhears a comment by Frankie and wants to know what his daughter is talking about.
Frankie is pushed to finally come clean and tells her dad that she has been accepted into dance school in London. How will Darren react to this big news?
8. Rex shares his secret
Ro finds Rex at the garage and tells his colleague that he knows his secret. Rex finds the bravery to open up to Ro about exploring his identity through wearing women’s clothes.
Ro listens to Rex’s story without judgment and reminds him that Ste loves him for who he is. Will Rex be able to confide in his fiancé?
9. Gemma seeks support
After getting answers about Froggy, Gemma is in urgent need of support – so she finds solace in her ex, Warren, and things get passionate between the former lovers.
Wednesday 25 February – Episode 6685
10. Mercedes has an unexpected idea

After spending the night together, Warren is relieved when Gemma tells him she doesn’t regret what happened between them. Meanwhile, Mercedes completes her final therapy session and says goodbye to her friend Nikki as she leaves rehab.
Mercedes is welcomed home by her family, but when she spots Warren going into the Maaliks’ house from over the fence, she realises what she wants. Warren and Gemma are taken aback when Mercedes turns up and proposes that both women share Warren! How will they react?
11. Leela faces a decision
Sienna and Myra are horrified to learn that they have both failed the social services checks and Joseph will be placed into temporary foster care. When she spots that Leela is on the list and has declined to take Joseph, Sienna pleads with the social worker for a few more hours so she can speak to her.
Myra and Sienna reach out to Leela, keen for her to take Joseph so he can stay in the village. Leela is unsure, considering Joseph is the son of her husband Joel, but she doesn’t want to see a family ripped apart. She wants to see Cleo herself before making a decision, so how will this meeting affect Leela’s choice?
