Hollyoaks airs shock Rex attack as evil villain returns to the village
Sully visits Froggy.

Hollyoaks has aired a shocking attack after the villainous Connor ‘Sully’ Sullivan turned up at Rex Gallagher’s flat following his return to the village.
Viewers know that corrupt cop Sully, who is Froggy Black’s son, recently had his men kidnap Vicky Grant, telling her dad, Donny Clark, to do what he said or she would die.
After Sully told Donny and Dodger to break Smithy out of prison and kill him, the pair staged a murder, convincing Sully that they had done what he’d asked.
Sully was caught after believing the murder had taken place, with Superintendent Singh telling Dodger that Sully had been returned to police custody.
In recent weeks, Rex has been battling with uncertainty over his identity following the death of his mum, Grace Black.
As part of his emotional cross-dressing story, Rex recently tried on his mum’s red lipstick and stole one of Leela’s tops, and Ro spied Rex dancing in a private moment.
On 23 February’s episode, Dodger attempts to clear his name, telling Singh that he was never working with Sully or Smithy.

With his recent cases under review, Dodger is devastated to learn that he has been suspended and that Sully is due for release.
At the garage, Froggy praises Rex for the man he’s become, saying he wants to help set up the engagement party for Rex and Ste.
When a delivery of women’s clothes turns up at the garage under a fake name, Ste sends him on his way, thinking he had the wrong address, with Ro spotting the interaction.
As Diane searches through her dresses, looking for something for the upcoming party, Ro suggests that Diane needs to revamp her wardrobe.
“I’ll recycle these and any other ancient dresses you’ve got,” he says as he walks out with a bag of Diane’s clothes.
After saying he is taking the clothes to charity, Ro makes up an excuse to leave the bag with Rex. Ro says the charity shop is closed, asking Rex: “Can you keep an eye on them until tomorrow for me?”
Later, in the comfort of his own home, Rex tries on one of Diane’s discarded dresses but has to hide when Froggy comes through the door.
Intent on revenge and unaware that Rex was hiding, a newly released Sully tracks down Froggy at the flat and begins to attack him.
After Sully pulls out a screwdriver and says he is going to kill Froggy, Rex comes out of hiding to hit Sully over the back of the head.
