Hollyoaks’ Lucas Hay left shaken as dangerous new cellmate arrives

His romance with Dillon hangs in the balance.

Hollyoaks is set to air a sinister prison development for Lucas Hay right after he’s started rekindling his romance with his ex-boyfriend Dillon Ray.

Lucas is serving a sentence for holding his dad Ste hostage after he discovered that he’d slept with Dillon. Now behind bars, Lucas has begun to realise the error of his ways and has vowed to change, convincing Dillon that there could still be a chance for them as a couple.

In upcoming scenes, Dillon continues visiting Lucas despite the doubts cast by his pal Vicky Grant on their relationship. Vicky insists that Lucas is not to be trusted, but Dillon is too caught up in his feelings to listen to reason.

In the prison visiting room, Dillon opens up about finding out that Donny Clark had been raped by Sully. Lucas tries to support Dillon as best as he can.

Later on, Lucas meets with his lawyer, James Nightingale, who had previously promised to help him. The young inmate asks James for a favour.

In another scene, Lucas manages to get a phone and calls Dillon, with the pair falling asleep as they chat the night away.

Another development sees Dillon worrying about Lucas when he hears a fight breaking out during one of their phone calls. Dillon panics when Lucas doesn’t respond.

The following day, a new arrival to prison spells trouble for Lucas. Is his new cellmate a threat to Lucas and will this affect Lucas’ newly repaired bond with Dillon?

“Things are looking up for Lucas, with Dillon prepared to give him another chance,” our Hollyoaks source explained.

“Despite warnings from Vicky that Lucas shouldn’t be trusted again, Dillon sees that his ex-boyfriend is trying hard to work on himself and make up for the past.

“Lucas’s joy over his love life could be short-lived, though, when his sinister new cellmate arrives. Who’ll be causing trouble for him behind bars?”
