Hollyoaks actress Anya Lawrence has let slip what’s in store for her character Vicky Grant following the shocking death of Ethan Williams on his wedding day.
In a jaw-dropping plot twist, Ethan plummeted to his death during Monday’s (October 7) episode, just hours after exchanging vows with Sienna Blake (Anna Passey), leaving fans stunned.
The events leading up to his demise remain unclear, sparking speculation among viewers, with many suspecting foul play. Despite a heated argument with Ethan over a secret abortion, Sienna was devastated to discover her husband’s lifeless body on the roof of their wedding car.
As the last person to see Ethan alive, Sienna was taken in for questioning by the police on Tuesday (October 8). Meanwhile, Vicky has some explaining to do after crashing the wedding in a bid to win Ethan back, only to fail miserably.

Discussing the latest Hollyoaks drama, Anya revealed: “I don’t know why Vicky is being such an idiot thinking she’s going to win against Sienna, she is terrifying. Vicky really does have a death wish.”
“It’s going to be so messy. I’m so glad they’ve trusted me with these storylines. I’m there more than my actual home at the minute, which I’m so grateful with.”, reports the Liverpool Echo.
The actress has opened up about her wishes for her character Vicky as she deals with the aftermath of Ethan’s demise, expressing: “I actually want to get into Vicky’s back story.”
She further divulged: “I’m so intrigued because there’s questions I don’t even know the answer too. I want to get into how being in the foster care system has actually effected her.”

Anya, who first graced our screens as Vicky in 2022 as Scott Drinkwell’s foster daughter, has seen her on-screen father Donny Clark (portrayed by Louis Emerick) enter the scene, hoping to reconnect with his child.
In the latest twist aired on Wednesday (October 9), and available on Channel 4, Robbie Roscoe, played by Charlie Wernham, hatches a plan to safeguard Vicky by convincing one of his unsavoury contacts to ‘false’ly tell the police they saw Sienna pushing Ethan over the edge. Yet, it’s left to be seen whether Robbie’s scheme will succeed.
Hollyoaks airs Monday to Wednesday on E4 at 7pm and first look episodes can be streamed Channel 4 from 7am
