CASHING IN Hollyoaks icon reveals she’s flogging products on TikTok shop after quitting show, saying ‘we’re all trying to survive’
A HOLLYOAKS star has just revealed that she’s been flogging products on TikTok shop after quitting the show as a way to “survive”.
She took to the social media platform to post an explainer video, sharing why she decided selling products on TikTok was a path forward for her.

Steph played the role of Cindy Cunningham from November 1996 until September 2024.
Of her new career venture, Steph began in the video: “So, why did I start doing TikTok shop.
“So I’m an actress. I’ve been in the business for 30 years.
“Most of you know me as Cindy from Hollyoaks. But a couple of years ago I left my job.”
Steph then went on to detail how she wound up selling skincare products and supplements on TikTok shop, despite trying lots of different avenues of work since leaving Hollyoaks.
She continued: “So, I wrote a book, trained to be a life coach, auditioned, shot my first movie.
“Reality is, it’s been so wonderful to be able to do all of these other things, but one day my daughter gave me a packet of greens that she’s got off of TikTok shop.
“Something that I already use. So I signed up to TikTok shop, shared and link and you know what? The video took off.
“It then dawned on me that there are so many things that I use that’s helped me in mid life that I could be sharing.
“So I started to share more. And then what happened was an income.
“Some days it’s just trial and error. And I just love the fact that it’s for everybody.
“We’re all here just trying to survive. It’s not a cheap world to live in.”
Steph finished the post off by sharing the handle of her dedicated TikTok shop social media pages and thanked her followers for listening.
Fans of Steph dropped supportive comments in the post’s comments section, wishing her all the best.

She was one of the soap’s longest-serving actresses and she navigating major storylines, including being the first person to give birth on the show.
