Hollyoaks star hints at when exactly Sienna Blake will return after prison twist

Hollyoaks star Anna Passey has revealed when Sienna Blake will be returning to the village following her stint in prison. Sienna was jailed for the murder of Clare Devine last month after weeks of making her partner Cleo McQueen believe she was the culprit.

After leaving the soap for a brief stint, Anna has confirmed that Sienna is set to make a shock comeback before the end of summer.

However, she doesn’t know the exact details of her return, and whether it will be from behind bars or not.

Speaking to The Sun, she said: “I’ve done 14 years on the bounce and Sienna is pretty hectic, so I thought it was a nice time to take a little time off for myself.

“I’m on a little sabbatical at the moment. Sienna is in prison for a while, but she will be back.”

However, she said that she doesn’t have any plot details to share.

“I don’t know too many details of how she will be back. But she will be back by the end of the summer. I’m looking forward to coming back,” she continued.

“Once I’ve had this break, I’ll be back to normal.”

Sienna was seen killing Clare following a tense showdown on a clifftop, pushing Clare into the water below.

Following the shocking event, Sienna tampered with Cleo’s medication after Cleo was diagnosed with postpartum psychosis, convincing her that it was she who had killed Clare.

Cleo eventually found out about Sienna’s scheme and confronted her partner, who eventually confessed to being the killer.

Sienna was arrested by police after attempting to flee the village, being taken away in handcuffs in front of the locals.

Gemma Bissix, who plays Clare, previously responded to confusion over whether Clare is really dead, saying: “As we have discovered in previous years, she’s a fantastic swimmer, isn’t she?”
