Hollyoaks has confirmed that Dodger Savage will make a dramatic return to the show early next month, in intriguing new scenes.
In October, it was announced that Danny Mac would soon be reprising his popular soap role, with Dodger returning to the village after ten years away.
It has been a dramatic few months for the Blake family, with the huge twist that Patrick’s long-lost twin Jeremy is actually Sienna’s father – and therefore Dodger’s father too.

While it seemed that Jez was the complete opposite of his villainous late twin, it was soon revealed that he had an evil streak and was manipulating his mum Martha.
The Blakes have found themselves at odds with one another following the death of Ethan on his and Sienna’s wedding day.
Sienna was originally framed for Ethan’s murder by Robbie and Vicky, but Jez made the key witness retract his statement and the case fell apart.
He then told confused Martha that she was responsible for Ethan’s death, but after Martha tried to confess to the police, Sienna admitted that she did in fact kill her husband.

Jez revealed that he knew this and was trying to protect his daughter. While Sienna wanted to hand herself in on Christmas Eve, he convinced her to stay quiet, as she couldn’t abandon her children.
Meanwhile, while Theresa is heading to Japan for an influencer trip, in recent weeks her daughter Myra-Pocahontas admitted that she missed her dad Dodger.
In scenes that will air early next month, Martha begins to open up about her abusive relationship with Jez and Patrick’s dad Charles. Sienna wants to help her grandmother, so she sets about retrieving some old records for her.

Later, as Sienna rushes past The Dog, a hooded figure is seen watching on – a figure who is revealed to be Dodger.
Further details about Dodger’s return are yet to be revealed, but why is he back after all this time, and what does he want?
On his comeback, Danny previously said in a statement: “I’ve always wondered whether he could return and who he might have become in the ten since he ran away. Now that he’s back, there’s a lot to uncover, but one way or another, we will finally find out.”
These scenes will air on Wednesday, January 8, on E4 and streaming service Channel 4.
