Hollyoaks 30th anniversary deaths teased as Ruby O’Donnell issues warning
"Nobody is safe."
Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks star Ruby O’Donnell has teased big drama ahead of the soap’s 30th anniversary, which will see the whole village in grave danger. With a huge stunt already confirmed to air this October, will your favourite characters come out unscathed?
The month-long celebration, which kicked off last week, will see a range of special episodes and spin-off shows to commemorate the impressive milestone. Fans can look forward to the return of Hollyoaks Later, a crossover with Brookside, and reruns of the soap’s most explosive moments.
Meanwhile, the drama on the main show will continue to ramp up, with shocking storylines set to rock the village. And according to O’Donnell (who plays Peri Lomax), everyone will be affected.
“Everyone’s involved in the anniversary, she told The Mirror. “Peri and Tom [Cunningham] are involved. Everyone in the village is at risk and nobody is safe.”

Former couple and co-parents Peri and Tom recently reignited their romance, following Tom’s release from prison. Viewers have seen the pair grow closer this week – but is trouble on the horizon?
“There is so much going on in the anniversary,” O’Donnell explained. “Lots of different people are trying to get involved in Peri and Tom’s relationship.”

She continued: “There are always going to be bumps in the road. Clare [Devine] is the biggest right now, but hopefully they’re strong enough to work through it.”
Elsewhere, Hollyoaks icon Kieron Richardson (who plays Ste Hay) was recently announced as the host of the new series Hollyoaks Unwrapped, alongside regular guest star Anna Passey (Sienna Blake).
Each episode will feature a range of behind-the-scenes gossip, including interviews with current and former cast members, themed games, spoilers and set secrets.
