Exclusive: Hollyoaks to expose Beth’s secret as Frankie takes action

Hollyoaks star Isabelle Smith has revealed an exciting new plot for her character Frankie Osborne, as she blackmails her aunt Beth Keane over a sinister secret.

Frankie is set to find out the explosive truth next week, when she discovers something inside of a box at the Keane house that makes Beth’s blood run cold.

Also next week, Frankie grows closer to Beth’s stepson Caleb Keane – and after the secret comes out, Beth is unhappy to see the two of them bonding as she fears that Frankie will tell everyone what she’s been hiding.

Sitting down with Inside Soap, Isabelle reveals that Frankie could do just that, as she’s set to use the secret to make Beth’s life a living hell.

“It definitely changes her relationship with Beth, but she wants to keep it between the two of them,” Isabelle shares. “You’ll see that Frankie likes having this power over Beth and it’s going to be something that maybe she’ll use against her in the future. Beth isn’t playing fair, so why should Frankie?”

The exact nature of the secret is yet to be revealed on-screen – but Isabelle teases that it could cause catastrophic devastation to both the Keane and Osborne families.

“It’s a massive secret,” she hints. “Ultimately, Frankie herself doesn’t know the full extent of the secret, and I don’t think she’s going to understand the sheer devastation she could cause if this came out.

“I don’t think she understands the severity of that. It is something that is going to tear the two families apart…”
